The Mavericks are an interesting blend of honky-tonk, classic rock, country and Latin. While they effortlessly fuse these sometimes dichotomous sounds together , they have never been embraced by their true audience, the country music fan. Dance the Night Away, as an example, was a hit in the UK but surprisingly not in the US. No matter, crank up the volume and Dance the Night Away’s undeniable hook will having you smiling ear to ear on a Friday or any day, muchachas.
