Many of you may know Zane Lamprey but until today, I never heard of him and his television show, Three Sheets. Three Sheets is an international pub crawl where Zane takes you through various countries and their drinking habits. In season one, episode one, Zane explores Belgium customs and its beers. In this episode, Zane, the host, samples a variety of beers, Belgium chocolates and a Brussels sprout liqueur. He looks well dressed, sane and stable. By the time he gets to Scotland in season three, episode 28, he looks like Mel Gibson’s Braveheart after consuming a lorry full of Ritalin. He clearly has had a minimum of 27 hangovers and likely more.  In this episode, Lamprey is a kilt-wearing, whisky drinking, haggis-eating fool. (It makes me home sick.) Here’s the link to the rest of his series. I have only seen a few but they are very enjoyable, especially if you are visiting the nation or area he is featuring. He also did a show about a NYC pub crawl that I haven’t been able to find. Yet.
