  1. Very funny. Although Julian Dicks retired from football about ten years ago, so I think that some of these might be a little recycled!

    My favourite of these sporting slip ups was a classic cricket commentary, when Peter Willey was coming in to bowl against the renowned West Indian Michael Holding. The commentator’s famous line? “The batsman’s Holding, the bowler’s Willey.”

    You couldn’t make it up.
